The tune will come to you at last...

          (Originally posted on Mar 5, 2007 3:03)
I'm just coming from the karaoke bar.
Apparently the ban on Stairway to Heaven was lifted.

I don't know what happened. Did the "lady we all know" listen to the "voices of those who stand looking"? Who knows...
         It makes me wonder...

But I didn't dare ask. Lest her remember the ban and reinstate it.
So in the end a new day dawned for those who stood long and the forests echoed with laughter.
         Does anybody remember laughter?

Do you think she'll let me sing Black Dog next time? :-)

Ooooh... It makes me wonder...

"There's a sign on the wall
but she wants to be sure
cause you know sometimes words have two meanings"

Anyone remember that scene on Wayne's World in which Wayne goes to the guitar shop to check the guitar of his dreams and is not allowed to play Stairway to Heaven?

Recent events reminded me of this scene.

A few days ago I was at a karaoke bar and people there requested me to sing Stairway to Heaven. But the DJ didn't allow me to sing it because "it is too long and the customers will be bored"!!

I mean... Customers requested it! It's "the voice of those who stand looking"! Hellooo? "Dear lady can you hear the wind blow"?

I lived in another country where people believe the customer is always right. But in this country the customer is always last. I know... People usually tell me "daca nu iti convine, pleci!!" And I must say that sometimes "there's a feeling I get when I look to the west, and my spirit is crying for leaving..."

But my good friends tell me that "If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow don’t be alarmed now, Its just a spring clean for the may queen."

They will convince the "lady we all know" "and it's whispered that soon, if we all call the tune then the piper will lead us to reason. And a new day will dawn for those who stand long and the forests will echo with laughter."

So, "if you listen very hard the tune will come to you at last".
