         I got it!!
         My ticket for the concert!!
         After two weeks of agonizing uncertainty, against overloaded servers, backstabbing friends and uncooperating ticket salesmen, I finally got it!!

         Now I have to wait 3 more months praying for Keith Richards not to do anything stupid until the concert.

It's only Rock 'n' Roll but I like it!!

According to my source, a press conference with the organizers of the concert was held today and the following news were released:

1 - The concert official date is July 17th (so it's time to discuss your vacation dates with your bosses)

2 - The venue will be the Lia Manoliu National Stadium.

3 - Tickets sales: Between March, 27th to April, 1st exclusively to Vodafone clients and Rolling Stones Fan Club members and from April, 2nd to the general public. Prices between 80 RON and 800 RON

So, the countdown is on!

Start me up - Update

In a country where rumors are the norm not even the Rolling Stones escape.
First rumor is that the concert won't be held on July 14th but on July 17th. And that's a Tuesday!!
On the site It's Only Rock 'n 'Roll (www.iorr.com) this date is shown as confirmed.

The second and more disturbing rumor is that the Lia Manoliu National Stadium is too small to receive the Stone's mega massive over-indulgent stage so the concert may be moved to Piata Constitutiei and it will be free. Or... (God fereste!) canceled!!
I really hope none of these two possibilities will come true and I am willing to consider converting to any religion that can guarantee that this won't happen if I pray for their god(s).
But in this country not only are rumors the norm, but also they are often true...

Religions, send me your catalogs and proposals!
Or… maybe I should show some “Sympathy for the Devil”?

Me? I plan to get younger.
How? With a life changing, mind altering... Event! Not substance, you dirty minded!
And the event is... The Rolling Stones concert!! Yay!

I missed the last opportunity when they were in Tokyo for the Voodoo Lounge Tour. I couldn't get tickets! Yeah, in Japan you have to be fast on the dialing to reserve tickets. If they say they start tickets sales on Monday at 9:00, at 8:59 you have to be ready with your finger on the phone dial to get one.
And of course, to add insult to injury, in that night they had a special guest on stage: Bob Dylan! Arrrrgh!! I still kick myself for missing it.

But now is my chance! And I'm afraid it's the last chance. Hey, the boys are in their 60s!
You think it's weird that seeing 4 wrinkled geriatric guys on a stage will make me feel younger? I don't care. I'm sure I will feel muuuuch younger.

Sooo, where do I get tickets?
And who do I have to kill to get them?
